About

I’m Martin. I’m a Swedish physicist who somehow ended up working in a chemistry department in Poland. I am the leader of a relatively new research group in electrochemistry at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Since that’s a mouthful it’s usually just IPC PAS. My goal is to write about whatever interests me, such as science, research, photography, a bit of politics, climbing, etc. But I also want to try to give an idea of how it is being a scientist in Poland on the border between “young” and “senior”.

Most of the posts will be in English, but sometimes I will write in Swedish when the topic is relating to Swedish issues in particular.
